SingularLogic at the forefront of sustainable development and innovation with 5 new research projects

SingularLogic, a member of the Space Hellas Group, is actively enhancing its involvement in green development and sustainability by undertaking pivotal roles in five new research and development projects launched in 2024, funded by the European program Horizon Europe. Through these projects, the company is broadening its role into critical areas, including intelligent buildings, environmental monitoring, biodiversity conservation, and the sustainable transformation of industrial production, by leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

Through the CLIMRES and DATAWISE projects, part of the European Built4People initiative, each one funded with approximately €5.0 million, SingularLogic continues its involvement in resilient cities and smart building infrastructure. The company is developing solutions to secure data management and evaluate and monitor building infrastructures and urban environments within these projects.

Additionally, the company is participating in the ENHANCE and ENFORCE projects, which leverage Citizen Science methodologies by involving active citizen contributions in data collection through scientifically structured protocols, supplemented with satellite data, aiming at enhanced environmental phenomena monitoring. With funding amounting to €1.7 million, the ENHANCE project focuses on coastal health by developing specialized applications. The ENFORCE project, which has received about €6.4 million in funding, aims to develop digital tools to facilitate compliance monitoring with the environmental legislation, including biodiversity protection, illegal logging, and pollution control. SingularLogic coordinates the development of digital platforms for both projects, emphasizing the integration of heterogeneous data and tools.

Moreover, through the MaaSAI project, which has received almost €7.0 million in funding, SingularLogic focuses on developing blockchain-based applications to ensure transparency and traceability in industrial production. These tools also facilitate interactions between production system providers and industrial companies (consumers) within a Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS) ecosystem, delivering flexibility, efficiency, and transparency, enabling digital and environmentally sustainable transformation of the industrial sector.

SingularLogic has received total funding exceeding €2.0 million for these five projects, demonstrating its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the transition toward a green and digital economy.

Participation in these projects further deepens the company's expertise in data interoperability, European data spaces, and integrating complex systems based on advanced technologies, including Satellite and Drone Data Analysis, Digital Twins, and Virtual and Augmented Reality (AR/VR). Through these initiatives, SingularLogic solidifies its role as a leading technology provider of digital solutions that actively contribute to environmental protection and sustainable development.
